A lot of folks come to Lorain County and have no idea what to do here when they arrive. Personally, for me there is too much going on, and I have a hard time deciding what to do from all of my choices.
For instance, this weekend I'll be out a Pioneer Days at Mill Hollow. Its a fun event with lots of 1800's style crafts and food. I'm actually part of an exhibition for a buddy of mine who is a "mountain man". We camp out all weekend and show people who stop by lots of antique weapons, furs, and even cooking tools.
But because I'm there I won't be able to go down to Findley State Park. They are having two cool events this weekend. On Saturday they've got a triathalon, and on Sunday they have a mountain bike event. Both should be a blast! Love it down there.
Last weekend I finally got a chance to go paddleboating at the new Wellington Reservation. Its another example of an active, outdoor activitiy that doesn't cost you a cent. Check it out.
I've just heard about some new restaurants around too, so after all the hiking, biking and carrying on I'm going to try out some new places to eat. Have any of you eaten at the new Diso's at All Nations or Henri's at the Barn.
So folks, what are you going to do? Who's going to be there? And what kind of food will you be eating???!!!??? Let me know, because I need to be there too!
